Pulu is a dense, handwoven highland wool cloth. For generations it kept wind off the body — thick, warm, open to air, worn until the surface mapped a life outdoors.
At AJ-NAMO the weave stays. The weight is lightened, the hand softened, so the same cloth can hang as coat, vest, knit, or skirt. Traditional pulu is stiff for daily city wear; the work is to keep its weather-sense without the costume bulk.
How we use it
- Autumn–winter knits, coats, vests, and skirts
- Plateau colour: snow, lake, grassland, danxia, muted prayer-flag tones
- Motif at collar, cuff, hem, or side — never all-over
Care
Professional dry clean preferred. Avoid heavy steam that can compact the nap. Store folded with cedar, not on thin hangers.
